alistair overeem, sixth in the UFC heavyweight rankings, has a new home. The Dutchman decided to leave the Blackzilians gym, in the city of Boca Raton, Florida, to join Jackson's Submission Fighting, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The revelation was made by Overeem himself to the North American website “MMA Fighting”. Now, he will start training alongside fighters like Jon Jones, Carlos Condit and his penultimate opponent, Travis Browne. According to the fighter, the idea of ​​joining renowned trainer Greg Jackson's gym is an old one.

“I was planning to go there the whole time. But I fought Travis and I couldn't go there, since Travis trains at the gym. The same with regards to Frank mir”, he said, referring to his latest opponent who often trains there. “Now, as I’ve been away for a while, I’m reorganizing myself. I’m making progress and I’m very optimistic,” he highlighted.
