Protagonists of one of the most exciting fights at UFC San Antonio, Daniel Miojo e CJ Vergara not only did they put on a show as fighters, but they also demonstrated their human side as athletes. Defeated after almost beating his opponent in the first round, the Brazilian accepted the loss with manliness and took time to congratulate the North American after the confrontation.
During an interview with UFC, Vergara was surprised by Daniel's affection. The athlete promptly interrupted his speech and paid attention to the Chute Boxe representative Diego Lima. During the meeting, the two showed respect. When saying goodbye, Miojo spoke about the coincidence of his son having the same birthday as the North American's daughter and CJ expressed happiness at the similarity.

In a delicate phase in the organization, the Brazilian came very close to emerging victorious in the fight. With a very aggressive first round, Daniel hurt his opponent a lot, but was frustrated when he watched Vergara 'run' around the octagon to escape his attacks. Tired, the fighter returned for the second round without the same energy and was overcome by the resilient North American. This was Miojo's fourth consecutive defeat.
At 31 years old, CJ reached 11 career victories. Hired via 'Contender Series', the athlete has two triumphs and two setbacks in the organization. With great courage, Vergara withstood all the pressure in the first five minutes and won by technical knockout in the second stage of the duel.
