Dana White praises Holly Holm's dominant performance against Yana Santos

The president did not hide his surprise at the former champion's excellent performance and congratulated her on her triumph at UFC San Antonio

Known by fans for being an athlete who doesn't usually deliver exciting fights, the American Holly holm showed an unusual face in his fights at UFC San Antonio. On Saturday night, against Russian Yana Santos, the former bantamweight champion showed a lot of aggression and dominated the fight both in striking and on the ground. The performance of the 'Pastor's Daughter' drew praise from President Dana White at the press conference.

“Every time I think Holly is starting to get too old, she comes out and puts on a performance like she did tonight. Congratulations on her excellent performance,” said Dana after the show this Saturday (25).

Facing Yana Santos, the former champion took control of the fight from start to finish and emerged victorious in the judges' unanimous decision. The two athletes took part in the co-main fight of the show.

Number three in the bantamweight rankings, Holm is once again getting closer to fighting for the bantamweight belt, a category in which she was already champion. The 'Pastor's Daughter' won for the third time in the last four engagements and now has an MMA record of 33 positive results, two negatives and three draws.
