Although Dana White confirmed Colby covington as the next challenger for the Leon edwards, who defended the welterweight title against Kamaru Usman in the main fight of UFC 286, last Saturday (28), the champion seems to have other plans.
In a press conference held shortly after the event, Edwards reaffirmed his lack of interest in having Colby covington as his next opponent for the belt.

When I was trying to win the title fight he said he didn't know who I was and now I'm the king. They say he can jump the queue, but I'm the king, I decide who's next”, said the champion.
