The Brazilian Thiago Marreta will have his first international fight in the UFC. After knocking out compatriot Ronny Markes at UFC Fight 38, held in Natal on the 23rd, the TUF Brasil 2 participant will face Uriah Hall, who became known as “Ambulance Man” during TUF 17 for sending his opponents to the hospital. The fight was announced on the UFC 175 card, an event that takes place on July 5, in Las Vegas.

Marreta, who has an MMA record of nine wins and two losses, will be fighting his third fight in Ultimate. In his debut, called at the last minute, Thiago was knocked out by Cezar Mutant at UFC 163 last October. On March 23, the Rio de Janeiro native recovered and ran over Rony Markes with a knockout victory less than a minute into the fight.

Hall, on the other hand, is coming off a victory against Chris Leben. The TUF 17 finalist knocked out the veteran in the 168th edition of the show, last December. Just like Marreta, Uriah has one triumph and one setback in two fights.

The main fight of UFC 175 also features Brazilians in action. Lyoto Machida challenge the champion Chris Weidman for the middleweight belt on the show.
