Back after almost two years, Bruno Bulldoguinho puts on a show and erases rival with submission at UFC Las Vegas

Recovered from injuries, Brazilian shines against Tyson Nam and approaches the elite of the group led by Brandon Moreno

Back after almost two years of inactivity, Bruno Bulldoguinho put on a real show in the Octagon UFC Las Vegas, held this Saturday (11). A promising flyweight (up to 56,7kg), the athlete was not intimidated by Tyson Nam, number 15 in the category, and delivered an overwhelming performance. With the right to kick there Anderson Silva, the Brazilian went further and eliminated his opponent with a rear naked choke in the second round.

Free from injuries, Bulldoguinho has plenty of reasons to celebrate. In addition to expanding his good momentum, reaching three consecutive victories, the fighter should take a place in the top 15 of the division.

Overcommitted, Nam could leave the flyweight elite. The fighter now has four setbacks in the last seven appearances.

Fierce Bulldog

The confrontation began with Bruno taking the initiative with a low kick. Nam tried to find the best distance and saved his attacks. With just over a minute left, Bulldoguinho surprised his opponent with a round punch, which touched his rival squarely in the face. Tyson, however, did not accuse the attack, and continued 'marching' forward. In the final seconds, the Brazilian risked another round punch, but the attack stopped in his opponent's guard. Almost at the end of the stage, Tyson landed a good combination of punches and kicks, shaking the Tupiniquim, but there was no more time.

Right at the beginning of the second round, Bulldoguinho connected with a kick 'à la Anderson Silva', causing the opponent to collapse. The Brazilian went forward in an advantageous position, while Nam closed his guard and tried to protect himself. When he tried to get up, Tyson ended up getting caught in a guillotine choke. The American refused to give up and ended up missing.

North American wrestling icon, Karl Williams he had no problems in his UFC debut. Opponent of Lukasz Brzeski, the heavyweight (up to 120,2kg.) used his main weapon to completely nullify his opponent. After a disastrous start in the UFC, Josh Fremd redeemed himself in the organization. A promising middleweight (up to 83,9kg), the fighter was the newcomer's opponent Sedriques Dumas. With strategic action, the fighter shined in the octagon and submitted his opponent with a guillotine choke in the second round.

The triumph returns the athlete's confidence. Before climbing into the octagon in UFC Las Vegas, the fighter had two setbacks.

Featured in 'Dana White's Contender Series', Dumas was unable to repeat the good performance that brought him to the company. The athlete now awaits the next challenge.

Victor Henry beats Tony Gravely in even fight

In his third appearance in Ultimate, Victor Henry won again. Months after the defeat to Raphael Assunção, the combatant measured forces with Tony Gravely and had a tough confrontation. Faced with an aggressive opponent, the athlete managed to nullify his rival's main characteristic and won the split decision.

With the positive result, Henry returns to dreaming of the top 15 in the category led by aljamain sterling. The athlete now has two triumphs and one stumble in the company.

Defeated, Gravely found himself in trouble in the company. With the setback, the athlete reaches the mark of three setbacks in the last five commitments with the company.

'Mozambique' wins with dominant performance

Present in the fight that opened the UFC Las Vegas, Carlston Harris, 'Mozambique', had an impeccable performance. Representative of the welterweight division (up to 77,1kg), the athlete gave no chance to Jared Gooden, cast last minute for the show. Abusing takedowns, the fighter took no risks and controlled the fight for three rounds, winning by decision from the judges.

With the victory, Harris recovers from the defeat suffered by Shavkat Rakhmonov. Now, with three wins in four commitments in the company, the fighter resumes his climb towards the top of the division, leading by Leon edwards.

Last minute scheduled for the event, Jared Gooden was unsuccessful in the compromise. The confrontation in UFC Las Vegas marked the athlete's re-debut in the UFC.
