The defeat suffered by Mauritius Shogun for Dan Henderson at UFC Fight Night 38, in Natal, it cost the Brazilian dearly. In addition to once again continuing without scoring two consecutive victories in the UFC, Shogun received the longest medical suspension on the list released by the Brazilian MMA Athletic Commission (CABMMA), this Monday (24).

Shogun must remain without fighting for 180 days, but could be released sooner if he is released by a specialist doctor presenting a head CT scan. The Brazilian, who lost by technical knockout to the North American, suffered a broken nose. Henderson must spend 45 days without fighting, with 30 days without physical contact.
