The good son returns home. Kevin Lee is back on the UFC roster and has already set targets and goals. Former challenger for the interim lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg), the North American believes he can easily win Leon edwards, welterweight champion (up to 77,1kg) and that his grappling fight will surprise all the highlights of the category.

“I can win this welterweight title. Leon edwards know this. I can fight this man and win this belt, so I'm chasing that achievement now. Modesty aside, I'm one of the best fighters in the world. This really can't even be disputed. Anyone I've fought, I'm knocking down, and I'm controlling, and you don't see that against a lot of the top welterweights,” Lee told 'TMZ'.

Waiting for the next confrontation to be scheduled, the athlete mentioned the advantages he will have in possible fights against Khamzat Shimaev e Colby covington.

“These guys are fighters, but how does Khamzat do when someone is trying to take him down? What does Colby do when someone is trying to take him down? And I feel like I ask a lot of those questions, and my style suits a lot of those fighters. I'm faster, I'm just as explosive, I'm just as strong, and I have the technique to beat them. I will solve the problem of my energy and stamina. It will be great for my career”, concluded the athlete.
