The Silva family has a busy schedule on the MMA calendar. His older brother, Erick, a UFC welterweight, has a fight scheduled against North American Matt Brown on May 10, at UFC Fight Night 40. But before doing his first main event in Ultimate, Erick helps his brothers Bruno and Gabriel, who are part of the Jungle Fight 67, which takes place on March 29th, in Foz do Iguaçu (PR).
“We have always helped each other, since I started fighting they have always given me a lot of strength, and now I am doing the same for them. The focus is on their next fight in Jungle Fight, the opponents are tough and will be at home. I always get very nervous when one of them fights, imagine now with both of them in the same event. But I'm sure they are more than prepared and will arrive in the fight very well”, said the Espírito Santo.
In the 67th edition of Jungle Fight, Bruno Silva faces Leandro Vasconcelos, in a duel valid for the lightweight category. In combat, Bruno seeks to recover from the setback suffered in his Jungle debut, when he ended up submitted by Marcos “Maluco”. Gabriel Silva, on the other hand, faces Willian Vogado, in a clash valid for the bantamweight division. Unlike his brother, “Gabito”, as he is known, won the three fights he had as a professional and is coming off a victory in his Jungle debut, with a lightning knockout over Vinicius Baraldo.
