Challenger for the lightweight belt (up to 70,3kg.) this Saturday (11), Alexander Volkanovsky promised to use an unusual strategy against Islam makhachev. In an interview with 'The Mac Life', the featherweight leader (up to 65,7kg.) admitted that he will seek to affect the Russian champion's psychology during the confrontation. At the UFC 284, the Australian tries to win his second title in the company.

“If he holds me back, or even if he takes me down, and we equalize the confrontation, I will be very happy. Even if I fall and get back on my feet, I will be happy. I'll say, 'How is this working for you? Will it be easy to keep me down?'. Let's see how he deals with panic. I love seeing people's faces falling into despair. I will continue laughing and teasing”, said Volkanovski.
