UFC 284 warm-up: Remember the 'beating' given by Alexander Volkanovski to Korean Zumbi

Featherweight champion (up to 65,7kg) of the Ultimate, Alexander Volkanovsky has been 'cleaning up' the division since he wore the belt for the first time in December 2019. In one of his recent title defenses, the Australian dealt an unbelievable punishment to Korean zombie No. UFC 273, held in April 2022. Remember the beating given by 'The Great'.

The duel before Korean zombie It marked Volkanovski's third title defense in the 65,7kg division. The duel took place in UFC 273, held in Jacksonville, Florida (USA). To crown the stellar card, Ultimate scheduled two title fights, 'Volkanovski x Zumbi' and aljamain sterling x Petr yan 2 and the electrifying duel between Khamzat Shimaev e Gilbert Durinho.

In the octagon, Volkanovski walked in front of Zumbi from the beginning to the end of the confrontation. With sharp striking, the champion mixed jabs, straight shots and kicks in a terrifying way and marked his rival's face in a frightening way. At the end of the fourth round, referee Herb Dean realized that the challenger was unable to continue defending himself in a dignified manner and interrupted the fight, keeping the featherweight belt in Volkanovski's possession.
