Summoned for a clash against Khamzat Chimaev, Robert whittaker It didn't take long to respond to the onslaught of Ultimate's promise. In an interview with 'Submission Radio', the former middleweight champion (up to 83,9kg.) admitted that he welcomes the challenge. The fighter took the opportunity to praise his possible rival.
"Lets do this. I think it would be a good fight. He (Chimaev) is a phenomenal fighter. He has a lot of weapons, but so do I. I'm a tough fight. I'm good with my hands and hard to knock down. A lot of people would be interested,” Whittaker said.

Betting on the future of the UFC, Chimaev is coming off a victory over Kevin holland. The fighter, today, is number three in the welterweight rankings (up to 77,1kg.), but shows signs that he can play at middleweight in the next challenge.
