Diego Sanchez, UFC veteran and champion of the first season of reality show The Ultimate Fighter, does not feel intimidated by his next opponent, Myles Jury, who he will face this Saturday (15), at UFC 171.

Jury, 25 years old, is undefeated in his professional MMA career, with 13 victories, four of which in the UFC. Sanchez identifies with his opponent's current situation, as when he joined the organization he was also undefeated. In April 2007, however, the fighter was defeated by his then arch-rival Josh koscheck, losing his invincibility.

In an interview with the North American website “MMA Junkie”, Sanchez declared that he sees the same thing happening to Jury as happened to himself almost seven years ago. “I remember when I was 17-0, on an incredible run, I felt invincible. But, one time or another, you come to reality. Even the best guys in the sport have losses on their resumes, and I feel like Myles Jury is in for a reality check with me,” he promised.

This Saturday (15), in Dallas, Myles Jury plays against Diego Sanchez his first fight on an Ultimate main card. The duel is the third-to-last fight of UFC 171. The main fight of the night is face-to-face John hendricks e Robbie Lawler for the vacant welterweight belt. In the co-main event, the former interim champion of the 77 kg division Carlos Condit face Tyron woodley.
