Responding to your process freely, Cain Velazquez He took some time to satisfy his longing. Former UFC champion and icon in the history of heavyweights (up to 120,2kg.), the North American was at AKA (American kickboxing Academy), to meet friends and old coaches from his heyday in MMA.
Cain, in fact, never stopped having a good relationship with athletes at the academy, considering that many of them publicly came to his defense, after being arrested for attempted murder. The coach, Javier Mendez, left the doors open and raised the possibility of the former champion returning to action as soon as he resolves his legal issues.

Enjoying his freedom after spending around eight months in prison, Velasquez has not yet settled his accounts with the United States courts. At the beginning of January, the former fighter was in a court in Santa Clara, California (USA) to continue his case, with a new hearing scheduled for March 08th, the last before the decisive trial.

Cain was imprisoned from February to November 2022, after chasing and shooting a man accused of molesting a close relative. At the time, however, the American allegedly hit the target's stepfather, who was also in the car. He faced charges for attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, purposely discharging a weapon and possession of a loaded firearm to commit a crime.
Velasquez was UFC champion on two occasions, between 2010 and 2015. The former champion defended the title twice and established himself as one of the great names in UFC heavyweight history. His last performance took place in February 2019, when he was knocked out by Francis Ngannou.
