Great rival of Ronda Rousey, Miesha Tate does not echo the rumors that circulate behind the scenes of MMA in which there is speculation about a superfight between Ronda and the muse, and former champion of the extinct Strikeforce, Gina Carano. For the current number three ranking in the women's bantamweight category, Gina, who abandoned the sport to dedicate herself to her modeling and acting career, would have a huge disadvantage against Rousey due to her hiatus.

“I think it would be a lot for Gina to handle, especially having been away for five years. I don't know, I think the fans would really enjoy it, so I understand the entertainment value. The fan in me would be a little curious to see this fight, but I don't know if it would be a fair match, just because she (Gina) has been out of the picture for so long. And even hit 61,2 kg again. She worked hard to weigh 66 kg, that is, five years later she will want to fight Ronda Rousey at 61,2 kg? It’s a little forced,” said Tate, in an interview with “The MMA Hour” podcast.

In Tate's opinion, the best possible opponent for Rousey at the moment is the Brazilian Chris Cyborg – whose name is linked to a duel against the UFC champion, but always runs into problems for the fight to actually take place. “Everyone wants to see this fight. I think Cyborg has proven time and time again that she is one of the most fearsome women on the planet. If she can be the Invicta FC champion at 61,2 kg, I think she will have done enough. I think it's definitely a fair marriage, and I think absolutely everyone, including me, would love to see this fight,” she concluded.
