Every week, Anderson Silva surprises the MMA community even more by presenting a quick recovery from the fracture suffered in his left leg during the rematch against Chris Weidman, in December last year. After releasing several images of her training, Spider justified Dana White's recent astonishment with her rehabilitation by releasing a video in which she appears performing a kick with the same injured leg on December 28th.

The images published through the social network Instagram show Anderson applying a sequence of kicks with his left leg on a ball used for physical therapy. Along with the video, which only shows part of the series of blows, the former middleweight champion released a message of motivation. “Always believe that you are capable. Have a good week everyone!” he wrote.

At 38, Anderson Silva has a record of 33 wins and six losses. Spider was UFC middleweight champion between 2006 and 2013, when, in July, he lost the belt after being knocked out by the challenger Chris Weidman. Six months later, in the rematch held at UFC 162, Anderson was once again defeated by Weidman, this time after fracturing his left leg in the second round. The Brazilian underwent surgery in which an intramedullary rod was inserted into his left tibia. Since then, he continues to recover at his home in Los Angeles (USA).
