The “Bonfim brothers”, Ismael Marreta e Gabriel Marretinha hold another event UFC in Brazil, this time in São Paulo this Saturday (4/10), at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium.

They had already competed in their debuts in UFC 283, held in Rio de Janeiro. Ismael and Gabriel, on that occasion, defeated terrance mckinney and Mounir Lazzez, respectively.

Used to fighting in the same events since the PRIDE days, Rodrigo Minotauro e Rogério Minotouro they shared two events in Ultimate.

Four years later, at UFC 190, in Rio de Janeiro, the brothers returned to fight at the same event, but this time without success for either of them. Minotouro was surpassed in the rematch against Mauricio Shogun, while Minotauro said goodbye to MMA with a defeat to the “giant” Stefan struve.

Continuing in Brazil, the “Marajó brothers” performed at the same events on two occasions.

No UFC Sao Paulo, in 2013, Ildemar Marajó submitted Wagner Caldeirão, but saw his brother Iuri's fight against Pedro Nobre, shortly afterwards, end without result after an accidental illegal blow.

Two years later, in Jaraguá do Sul, the two fought again at the same event and, this time, they were able to celebrate together. At the time, Ildemar surpassed Albert Tumenov and, soon after, Iuri surpassed Wilson reis.

Flyweight champion (up to 56,7kg) and leader of the women's weight-for-weight ranking in Ultimate, Valentina Shevchenko He has also had the opportunity to share a card with his sister Antonina.

The Pettis brothers are record holders in this regard, having already participated in four Ultimate events: UFC 181, UFC 185, UFC 197 and UFC 229.

Only the first time they fought on the same night, however, the two emerged victorious, when Sergio overcame Matt Hobar and Anthony defended the lightweight title against Gilbert Melendez.

The Lauzon brothers' experience sharing an Ultimate card was not the best. At UFC 108, the event that opened the organization's 2012 calendar, Dan was submitted by Cole Miller on the preliminary card, while Joe was bested by Sam stout on the main card.

Record holder for fights in the history of Ultimate, with 40 appearances, Jim Miller He shared an event with his brother Dan on two of these occasions.

At UFC 124, in 2010, the duo was able to celebrate after Dan overcame Joe Doerksen and Jim submitted the Brazilian Charles of the Bronx. At UFC 128, in 2011, Dan ended up being defeated by Nate Marquardt, while Jim knocked out Kamal Shalorus.
