Valentina Shevchenko puts flyweight belt on the line against number four in the rankings at UFC 285

Holder of the flyweight belt (up to 56,7kg) since December 2018, Valentina Shevchenko there is another challenge in sight wanting to interrupt his reign. The Kyrgyz fighter will face the Mexican Alexa grasso No. UFC 285, scheduled for March 04th. The show will be held at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA). The information was first released by 'ESPN Deportes'.

Ready for her eighth title, Valentina remains sovereign in the under-56,7kg division. During her reign, the 'Bullet' has already beaten names like Jessica Stacker, Liz Carmouche, Taila Santos e Lauren Murphy. A professional since 2003, the fighter from Kyrgyzstan has a record in the sport of 23 triumphs and three setbacks.

Number four in the ranking, Alexa is riding on four consecutive victories. Grasso's last defeat came in September 2019, to Carla esparza. The Mexican fighter has a record of 15 wins and three losses as a professional in the sport.

The main fight of UFC 285 will mark the return of Jon Jones to the octagon after just over three years of absence. The light heavyweight legend (up to 93kg) will face the Frenchman Cyryl Gane, in a duel valid for the heavyweight belt.
