In an interview with the North American website “Bleacher Report”, Condit highlighted his opponent's skills, but pointed out that Woodley's lack of experience could be the path to victory. “Woodley is a great wrestler. He has had several accomplishments as an amateur wrestler and is in the transition to becoming a great MMA fighter. He is very good at some things, but he is still inexperienced in this sport. The things he does well are extremely dangerous,” he highlighted.

In the same event, John hendricks e Robbie Lawler will compete for the category belt, which is currently vacant. Condit, who was a challenger for the linear title, wants to have another opportunity after overcoming Woodley. “Obviously, first and foremost I have business to attend to with Woodley, but I will absolutely try to get another shot at the title. I will try to have that belt around my waist. Woodley is in my way to this opportunity, he is in my way to big fights and to some of my goals and dreams,” he concluded.
