The UFC 170 card, which takes place on February 22nd, suffered a serious loss on Wednesday night (12). Through a note on its official website, the Ultimate organization announced that the light heavyweight Rashad evans suffered an injury and is out of the co-main fight of the night, against Daniel Cormier, which had been the first fight announced for the event – back in 2013.
Also according to the organization's statement, due to the proximity of the event's date, which takes place just ten days after Evans' cut, a replacement will not be selected and the UFC 170 card now continues with ten fights.
