After being detained in the early hours of this Friday (07) in Florida (USA), the Brazilian Thiago Silva His record was published on the official Broward County police website, where the incident was recorded. According to records from Sheriff Scott Israel's office, Thiago will face three charges: attempted assault with the risk of death, resistance with a firearm and obstruction of justice without the use of violence.
Two of the three charges, except for attempted assault with a risk of death, had their bail set at a combined amount of US$110 (R$264). Still on the page dedicated to the arrest of Thiago Silva, it is possible to observe that there is no date set for the athlete's trial. To date, Thiago remains incarcerated in Broward County Main Detention, where he can receive up to three visits per day.
In the early hours of this Friday (07), the UFC fighter was arrested by Florida police after breaking into Pablo Popovitch's gym, in Ft Lauderdale, armed and threatening people there. The Brazilian then locked himself in his house where he handed himself in to authorities after a few hours of negotiation. A SWAT team, a tactical police unit in the United States, was requested to help resolve the problem.
