After the defeat to Geovanni Diniz at Shooto Brasil, a decision he did not agree with, Paulo Bananada is eager to fight Matheus Souza this Thursday, when WOCS 3 takes place. The event, which features 12 disputes, will be at the Oásis club , in Barra da Tijuca (RJ).
“I saw Matheus fight at Shooto itself, where he faced Willamy Chiquerim. Even though it was a very quick fight, I could see that he is more of a ground athlete”, commented Bananada.
For this fight, the TFT fighter has been working mainly on the technical side.
“I'm feeling really good. This time I preferred to focus more on the fighting part. I trained a lot on ground, wrestling and doubled my muay thai training. I'm working on this striking part with Phillip Lima, who gives me a more truculent part for the fighting, and with Francisco Azevedo, who has been helping me a lot with my movement inside the ring”, concluded Bananada.
