TKD: Natália Falavigna recovers well from ankle surgery

Bronze medalist at the Beijing Olympics, Tae-Kwon-Do black belt Natália Falavigna is recovering well from arthroscopy on her right ankle carried out this week in Londrina. According to orthopedist César Eduardo Martins, the surgery went as planned by the medical team, and the athlete is recovering well.

“The surgery went very smoothly and Natália immediately started physiotherapy. Next week we move into the strengthening stage and I believe in three weeks she will be back to her normal routine,” she said.

Natalia explained that the injury arose from an injury that was not fully healed, but she is optimistic for recovery
