The National Natural Submission Fight took place last Sunday, an event organized by the Brazilian Confederation of Sports Jiu-Jitsu (CBJJE). The fights in the advanced adult category brought great competition to the Baby Barione gym, in São Paulo, and the highlight was Barbosa Jiu-Jitsu fighter Adriano Silva.
In the decisive fight in the professional absolute category, worth R$800, Adriano faced jiu-jitsu black belt and MMA fighter Fabio “Negão” Nascimento. The fight was decided with a tight leglock. With second place, Fabio Negão pocketed R$200.
Other highlights of the competition were Peter Munhoz (Barbosa), winner at featherweight, and Alex de Oliveira (Liboni), who was the best at lightweight advanced.
