The fight

The confrontation began with Harrison risking a low kick in the opening seconds. The Brazilian saved her attacks and waited for the best moment to strike. With just over a minute, Kayla got the first takedown and started trying transitions. On top, the champion managed the advantage, while the Tupiniquim only protected itself. In the final seconds, the North American moved away and attacked the Brazilian, still down, with kicks to the base. Close to the end of the stage, Kayla reached the back and attempted a rear naked choke, but there was no more time.

In the second round, the Brazilian knocked the North American off balance with a low kick right at the beginning. After the good moment of the Tupiniquim, Harrison shortened and started to put pressure on his opponent in the clinch, on the bars. After insistence, Kayla managed to take down, but Larissa ended up on top in an advantageous position. Harrison managed to get to his feet and pressed Pacheco again near the bars. In the final seconds, Larissa surprised the North American with a series of straight shots. At a disadvantage in the exchange, Harrison took the fight to the ground and looked for the submission, but the timer ran to zero.

From below, Larissa threw punches from below, while Harrison managed the result. Almost halfway through the stage, Pacheco entered a triangle and tried to surprise the North American. After the scare, Kayla managed to get out of position and put pressure on the Brazilian again. On top, the North American got the mount and was rehearsing a katagatame. The stage ended with the champion striking with ground and pound.

In the fourth round, Harrison attacked first, with a clean overhand to the Brazilian's face. Larissa responded in kind and walked towards the champion. In the first minute, Pacheco was taken down and Kayla continued in an advantageous position. Near the final minute, Pacheco managed to stay on his feet, but Harrison remained 'glued' to his opponent. In the final seconds, the fighters remained on their feet, but the American returned to grappling, until the bell sounded.

The fighters began the last round measuring strength in the center of the decagon. In the first minute, Harrison started a grappling fight and pressed the Brazilian against the bars. Larissa reversed the position, but Kayla surprised her with a takedown. Halfway through the stage, Harrison remained 'glued' to the Brazilian's right leg, trying to put her opponent's back on the ground. Pacheco responded with punches and tried to intimidate the champion. Almost in the final minute, Harrison had the advantage again and managed to stay on top on the canvas. The round ended with Harrison managing the position.
