Former Cage Fury champion called up to replace injured Bryan Caraway

A few days after cutting Bryan caraway, the Ultimate organization announced the debutant aljamain sterling as the Brazilian's new opponent lucas mineiro at UFC 170. The bantamweight duel takes place on the preliminary card of the event, which will be held on February 22, in Las Vegas (USA).

At 24, aljamain sterling has an undefeated record of eight wins and gave up his belt in Cage Fury, the organization in which he spent most of his career, to reach Ultimate. Lucas Martins, 25 years old, has a record of 14 wins and just one defeat as a professional. The Minas Gerais native comes from two consecutive victories, over Jeremy Larsen and Ramiro Hernandez.

UFC 170 takes place on February 22nd, at Mandalay Bay Events Center, in Las Vegas (USA). In the main fight of the night, the women's bantamweight belt holder Ronda Rousey defends his title against the challenger Sara McMann. In the co-main event, the undefeated Daniel Cormier makes his light heavyweight debut against the former division champion Rashad evans.
