If on the UFC on FOX 10 preliminary card,Hugo Wolverine shined and managed to win their fight, in the main program the Brazilians Adriano Martins and Gabriel Napao They didn't have the same luck and ended up being overcome. Adriano was knocked out by Donald Cerrone, while Napão was surpassed by Stipe Miocic in the unanimous decision of the judges.
Napão x Miocic
In the second most important fight of UFC on FOX 10, Gabriel Napao climbed into the Octagon with an eye on the top 10 in the heavyweight division. However, the Brazilian's rise stopped in a difficult Stipe Miocic. The Tupiniquim athlete started the duel better, working with low kicks and counterattacking his rival's attacks. At the end of the first half, Napão still managed a takedown, but the Croatian quickly got up.
Despite the good start to the fight, the Brazilian lost pace from the second round onwards. Already looking tired, Gabriel was unable to respond to his rival's attacks and only defended Miocic's attacks. History repeated itself in the next round, where the Croatian still managed to put the Tupiniquim black belt on his back and take the lead in the duel.
At the end of 15 minutes of fighting, victory for Stipe Miocic in the unanimous decision of the judges (29×28, 30×27, 30×27).
Adriano Martins starts well, but is knocked out
In his second fight in the UFC, Adriano Martins entered the octagon as an underdog in the duel against Donald Cerrone. Despite this, the manauara began to toughen up the dispute against the North American. The fighters exchanged blows in search of the best distance and the Brazilian seemed at ease in the octagon. But in a beautiful action, the 'Cowboy' ended the dispute in a sensational way.
In a dodging movement, Cerrone applied a beautiful shin kick that hit the side of Adriano's head. The Brazilian was already knocked out and referee John McCarty stopped the fight immediately.
