Roger gracie, away from competitions since the middle of last year, still doesn't know what his future will be in the fighting world. The fighter, world jiu-jitsu champion several times, tried his hand at a career in MMA, but ended up being fired from the UFC in 2013 and, to date, he doesn't know what his next steps will be.

On July 6, at UFC 162, Gracie was defeated by Tim Kennedy in a unanimous decision by the judges. That was his second defeat in MMA, against six victories. Even if his record in mixing martial arts is positive, the fighter is not sure if this is the right path to follow.

“To tell the truth, I haven't decided my future yet. I don't know if I'm going to retire, go back to jiu-jitsu or fight MMA. That's my dilemma. I'm giving myself time to make up my mind – I don't want to rush. I want to make a decision in the next few weeks”, said Gracie, in an interview with the North American website MMA Fighting.

“I believe I'm still young to retire. I know I will have to do this one day, but not now. I can still compete at the highest level. I'm still deciding which path to take. I haven't participated in jiu-jitsu competitions in four years, and I don't know if I'll continue in MMA. I’m in doubt,” he continued.
