With exactly 30 days left until the reunion, Glover Teixeira e Jiri Prochazka made the first attempt to publicize the long-awaited rematch. Protagonists of UFC 282, which will be held on December 10th, the light heavyweight champion (up to 93kg) and the Brazilian fighter participated in a press conference and then posed for traditional photos.

With a meteoric rise in the organization, Prochazka reached the title fight after just two fights, both won with beautiful knockouts. The Czech fighter assumed the throne of the category by submitting Glover in an electrifying fight that took place last June, at UFC 275. Jiri has a record in the sport of 29 triumphs, three setbacks and one draw.
One of the oldest athletes still active in Ultimate, Glover will try on December 1st to regain the throne of the under-93kg division, conquered in October 2021 over Jan Blachowicz. At 43 years old, the Minas Gerais native from Sobrália has been working professionally since 2022 and has a record in the sport of 33 triumphs and eight setbacks.
The second duel between Glover Teixeira and Jiri Prochakza will be held on December 10th, in the main fight of UFC 282. The show that will define the new light heavyweight belt will be held at the T-Mobile Arena, in Las Vegas (USA).
