With a scheduled fight, Glover Teixeira prepares for revenge against Jiri Prochazka in December, but is 'focusing his energies' on another important clash. The light heavyweight (up to 93kg.) has sharpened his 'pupil' game Alex Poatán to face Israel adesanya No. UFC 281 next Saturday (12), for the middleweight belt (up to 83,9kg.).
In an interview with 'All Access MMA', the Minas Gerais native believes that his training partner will adopt aggression to bother Adesanya and, thus, avoid a boring fight. He is also betting that Poatan has the necessary credentials to knock out the current champion.

“I don’t see the fight going to a decision. Alex shortens, gets the timing and the right distance first. It's difficult to go to the decision with him. It could happen, due to Adesanya's style of staying away and trying not to throw strikes all the time. But he will still lose, because Alex will keep pushing. And that's the problem. When you face him, you will be touched by those hands and fall”, analyzed Glover.
Willing to defeat his rival in yet another opportunity, Alex is undefeated since arriving in Ultimate. The athlete has three appearances and comes from an imposing triumph over Sean Strickland, still in the first round. In his career, the kickboxing legend has six positive results and one negative result.
