Still looking to return to the UFC after an eye injury, Michael Bisping revealed that, at the moment, he is treating a cataract in order to improve his vision.

In October 2013, the Englishman was scheduled to face Mark Muñoz at UFC Fight Night 30, in Manchester, but had to withdraw from the fight after suffering a detached retina in his right eye. Even though he is now cleared to return to training, Bisping said that he still needs to correct some details in order to return to fighting.

“The UFC medical team spoke to my personal doctor and asked me to have my peripheral vision tested. So I have to see what happens. I'm working to remove a cataract, which should improve my vision, but I'm depending on how these exams go," commented the Englishman, in a statement.

His last fight was in April last year, when he beat Alan belcher by unanimous decision of the judges. In previous interviews, Bisping has expressed a desire to return to fights against American Tim Kennedy, with whom he recently exchanged public barbs.
