The fighters made weight without any major problems for UFC Fight Night 35, which will be held this Wednesday (15) in Atlanta, in the US state of Georgia.
Luke Rockhold and Costas Philippou, who are in the main fight of the night, reached exactly the same measurement on the scale, at 83,9 kg. The fighters, who occupy, respectively, the sixth and tenth positions in the official UFC ranking, are trying to recover from their defeat. Rockhold was knocked out by Vitor belfort in his last performance, while Philippou was dominated by Francis Carmont.
The only Brazilian to participate in the event, Elias Silvério weighed in at 70,3 kg, the same as his opponent, Isaac Vallie-Flagg. No fighter exceeded the weight limit of their categories, and not even the towel, present at several UFC weigh-ins, needed to be used.
UFC Fight Night 35 will start at 19pm (Brasília time) this Wednesday, with a live broadcast on the subscription channel Combate.
