“This year will be very important. I want to turn things around and win again”, said the São Paulo native. “I'm staying strong and thinking positively about having a good year both in terms of fights and in my personal life. I've already had four fights in a year and, if I can repeat that number, it will be very good. As I didn’t fight much in 2013, I want to be in action as much as possible and show everything I didn’t show last year,” he outlined.

Do Bronx has made no secret of the fact that, in his fight against Ogle, his objective will be to showcase his skills on the ground, which have already earned him nine submission victories in his career. “I'm aware that my jiu-jitsu is good, but I have to keep working on it and never put it aside”, he acknowledged. However, he is also working to improve other aspects of his game. “I'm trying to improve my striking and I feel like I'm growing at this point. If you concentrate and train hard, you will evolve naturally. That's my job. I want to be the best in the category and I’m going to work towards that”, he concluded.
