After the defeat of Anderson Silva for Chris Weidman In July, the main criticism directed at the Brazilian concerned his stance in combat. According to UFC president Dana White, however, such considerations cannot be made this Saturday (28). This Thursday (26), speaking to the press after the UFC 168 press conference, White was very excited about Spider's motivation for the fight.

“This fight is going to be unbelievable. Did you see that look? It was awesome! You can see from Anderson's behavior, he is interacting with you, he is improving his responses, it seems like he is in a good moment. I'm really looking forward to this fight. Obviously, the way Anderson acted today at the press conference, his excellent physical shape and that look on his face say it all. I'm telling you, when I saw Anderson Silva last Thursday, it was looted. He’s ready for this rematch,” said the manager.

Dana also commented on Anderson's statements after his defeat, in which he said he was tired of the pressure that came with holding the belt. For the president, Spider has already rethought this position and wants everything that involves an Ultimate title again. “I think he went there and, even though he was the best of all time, he ended up losing that night. He lost the belt and now he wants the title back. I was trying to explain to you that there are many things that come with the belt. And he knows this and wants them back. I haven’t seen him this motivated in a long time,” he concluded.
