The producer Eletronic Arts, responsible for the game “EA Sports UFC”, the next release of the video game franchise from the main MMA organization on the planet, released a preview of what the game's graphics will be like. The Swede was chosen by the public, in an open internet vote, to appear on the cover of the game, alongside his tormentor at UFC 165 Jon Jones. After going through two voting phases, Gustafsson overcame the former welterweight champion Georges St Pierre in the final of the election, which ended at the beginning of December.
The “EA Sports UFC” game marks the beginning of the partnership between Ultimate and the producer Eletronic Arts. Previously, the production rights for the franchise's games were in the hands of THQ, which ended up declaring bankruptcy. The game, which promises to provide the most realistic experience in the history of MMA games and will feature more than 100 fighters in its roster, is scheduled to be released in the second quarter of 2014 for Playstation 4 e Xbox One.
