Corinthians officially resumes its partnership with Anderson Silva

In his next fight, against Chris Weidman, the Brazilian fighter will have the club's badge on his shorts

Corinthians made official, this Wednesday (18), the resumption of its partnership with Anderson Silva, former UFC middleweight champion. In his next fight, against Chris Weidman, on December 28th, the fighter will once again have the emblem of the São Paulo club on his shorts.

This is Anderson's second stint as a Corinthians athlete. Previously, in the period between August 2011 and May 2013, the athlete fought three times, winning three victories by knockout, against Yushin Okami, Chael Sonnen e Stephan bonnar.

PUBLICITY:

The partnership was dissolved shortly before the first fight against Weidman, in which Anderson was knocked out, losing an unbeaten streak of more than 15 fights in the UFC.

At UFC 168, in Las Vegas, United States, Anderson will face one of the most important fights of his career, when he will try to regain the middleweight belt against the rival who defeated him.
