Now it's official! UFC president Dana White confirmed, in an interview with Canadian radio 730AM, that Georges St Pierre will defend his welterweight belt against the Brazilian Thiago "Pitbull" Alves, in the long-awaited 100th edition of the show, which takes place on July 11th, in Las Vegas, in the United States.
“I am very confident that Georges St Pierre will be on the UFC-100 card defending his welterweight title,” said Dana White.
Georges St Pierre comes from triumph over B.J. Penn in UFC-94 by TKO, while, Thiago Pitbull overcame Josh koscheck, at UFC-90 in a unanimous decision by the judges.
