The debut of Brazilian Leandro “Brodinho” Issa in the UFC has been officially confirmed for the event to be held in Singapore, on January 4, 2014.
The bantamweight from the Evolve MMA team will face North American Russell Doane, who will also have his first fight in the organization. Doane has a professional record of 12 wins and three losses and knocked out former UFC fighter Jared Papazian in his last fight.
Brodinho, 30 years old, has a record similar to that of his opponent. He has 11 wins and three losses in MMA, and in the Asian organization One FC, where he previously competed, he accumulated three wins and one loss.
The main fight of UFC Fight Night 34 will be between welterweights Tarec saffiedine and Hyun Gyu Lim. Another highlight is the long-awaited debut of lightweight Tatsuya Kawajiri in the organization, facing Sean Soriano.
