According to the text, Anderson's sponsors for the fight are: Nextel, Lenovo, Burger King, Axe, Wizard and Corinthians, who invested the equivalent of R$400 each. The Brazilian's income is also increased by the scholarship he receives from the organization to perform and possible bonuses that the fighter may earn at the event – if he is awarded the best fight, knockout or submission of the night.
On December 28th, Anderson Silva faces Chris Weidman in the main fight of UFC 168. The fight, which takes place in Las Vegas (USA), is for the middleweight belt. In the night's co-main event, the TUF 18 coaches Miesha Tate e Ronda Rousey face each other for the title of the women's bantamweight division.
