After alternating victories and defeats in his last five fights, Ryan bader believes it is time to once again establish himself among the top names in the light heavyweight category. The North American, who last Friday (06) beat Anthony Perosh in Australia, stated that he may be out of action for some time due to a broken hand, but he already has two names in mind for when he returns to the Octagon: Mauritius Shogun e Phil Davis.

“I have been to two camps in a row, so I was in the gym constantly for four or five months. So when I have a little break, I want to recover and come back when I'm healed. Since I have a broken hand, some of these guys I thought I could fight, like Shogun or Phil Davis, they might have some fights first. I just have to wait, really. But I want to fight these guys who would make me move up in the category”, said Bader, in an interview with the “MMA Junkie” website.

Last Friday (06), at UFC Fight Night 33, Ryan bader beat Anthony Perosh by unanimous decision of the judges. Even with Bader's clear victory, the result was widely questioned after its release. This is because, in the opinion of many fans and members of the specialized press, the American would have won some rounds by 10-8. Before the victory over Perosh, “Darth Bader”, as he is known, was knocked out by the Brazilian Glover Teixeira, in Belo Horizonte.
