All athletes pass the UFC Fight Night 30 drug test

Event had Lyoto Machida's victory over Mark Muñoz as the main fight

The Ultimate organization, through vice-president of regulatory affairs Marc Ratner, announced on Wednesday night (10) that all athletes at UFC Fight Night 30, held on October 26th in England, showed no signs of of illegal substances, according to anti-doping tests carried out after the night of fights.

Ratner did not, however, disclose the names of the athletes tested. The model applied by the regulatory agency was a random examination, which seeks to identify traces of anabolic substances in the fighters' bodies or traces of recent drug use, such as marijuana and cocaine.

In the main fight of UFC Fight Night 30, Lyoto Machida knocked out Mark Muñoz with a spectacular high kick. The fight marked the debut of Machida, former light heavyweight champion, in the middleweight division – up to 84 kg. In the co-main event of the night, the clash between lightweights Ross Pearson and Melvin Guillard ended in a I didn't answer (fight without result) after Guillard applied an illegal knee to his opponent.
