This week, the UFC announced three fights that will be part of the UFC Fight Night card to be held in London, England, on March 8, 2014.
The local fighter Brad pickett will make his flyweight debut against the third-ranked fighter in the category, Ian McCall. Pickett, a former bantamweight, is coming off a loss to Michael McDonald, while McCall beat Iliarde Santos at UFC 163.
In the welterweight category, the promising Gunnar Nelson, undefeated in MMA, faces the Russian Omari Akhmedov, who made his UFC debut in November by knocking out Thiago Bodão.
Also in the under-77 kg category, Brazilian Igor Araújo is looking for his second victory in the organization against Englishman Danny Mitchell, UFC debutant. Araújo beat Ildemar Marajó at UFC Barueri, in October.
The main fight of UFC Fight Night London will be between former light heavyweight title challenger, Alexander Gustafson, and Jimi Manuwa.
