The UFC announced, this Tuesday (10), another fight for the event on February 1, 2014, UFC 169. The Brazilian Alan Nuguette will make his second fight in the organization against the dangerous Canadian John makdessi in Newark, New Jersey (United States).
Nuguette debuted in the UFC at the Barueri event in October, when he beat Garett Whiteley by technical knockout in the first round. At 30 years old, he has a perfect record as a professional MMA fighter, having won all 11 of his fights.
Makdessi comes from three consecutive victories, having knocked out Brazilian Renée Forte in his last appearance, at UFC 165. His record in the event is five wins and two losses, these being his only setbacks as an MMA fighter.
UFC 169 will feature two title fights. In the bantamweight category, the interim champion Renan Barao faces the owner of the linear belt, Dominick Cruz. As for the featherweight title, José Aldo faces Ricardo Lamas.
