Vitor Belfort accuses Jake Paul of 'running away' from boxing fight to face Anderson Silva

'Phenomenon' says that YouTubers run away from explosive fighters with knockout power; he bets on the victory of his compatriot and former rival

Vitor belfort is in trouble with Jake Paul. The 'Phenomenon', who even set his sights on a fight with the YouTuber, was upset when he found out about the confrontation against Anderson Silva in boxing, scheduled to take place on October 29th. He believes that the digital influencer has made great demands just to avoid facing him in the ring.

“My agent was talking to Jake's agent, but the fact is they were picking good fights for him. He didn't want to fight Hasim [Rahman] Jr. because of his weight; he canceled the fight with Tommy Fury, which we don't know exactly why. Later, we started talking, but he posed a lot of problems and demands. And I just saw yesterday that he chose the Anderson Silva”, stated Belfort in an interview with 'sherdog'.

Still on Paul x 'Spider', Vitor revealed that he believes in a victory for Anderson Silva in the confrontation, but highlights that Jake chooses to face slower fighters, who can take the fight to a decision, instead of explosive athletes with knockout power.

“I noticed that he is very afraid of facing fast, explosive opponents with knockout power. He prefers to face slower fighters, where his chances of reaching the end of the fight are greater. He is aware that if he is not submitted by Anderson, it will mean a big victory for him. But I think Anderson will beat him”, concluded the Brazilian.

Vitor belfort he also already has a date and opponent to return to the boxing ring. The Brazilian, who is coming off a stunning knockout against the legend Evander Hollyfield, will face Hasim Rahman Jr. The duel will be the attraction of the Misfits Boxing event, scheduled for October 15th, in Sheffield (ING).
