Jon Jones gives advice for Alex Poatan to overcome Israel Adesanya at UFC 281 and reveals his support for the Brazilian

Jon Jones gave important advice for preparing Alex Poatán seeking the middleweight title (up to 83,9kg.) against Israel adesanya, in a confrontation scheduled for the UFC 281, which takes place on November 12th. O 'Bones', who followed the Brazilian's recent updates about his weight, asked him to be careful when publishing and praised his striking.

“Be careful not to show Izzy too much (Israel adesanya), champion. I honestly don't think it will matter. It's yours. (…) loving these kicks”, wrote Jones in the 'Instagram' from Poatan.

Jones' recommendation came after Poatan's publications about his training for the clash. Furthermore, Brazilians also revealed your weight and today, it weighs 102,6kg, around 19kg. above the limit established by the middleweight division (up to 83,9kg.).

In the UFC since November 2021, Alex needed just three fights to get his ticket for a title fight, especially for facing Adesanya, his epic rival in kickboxing – as the Brazilian won two fights.

'Bones', in turn, has not fought since February 2020. After relinquishing the light heavyweight title (up to 93kg) that season, the fighter began the preparation process for his debut in the up to 120,2kg category. The athlete, however, does not have a confirmed date or opponent.
