Former Barão challenger Michael McDonald reveals he hasn't had sex in over three years

One of the most promising names in the new generation of Ultimate, bantamweight Michael McDonald, just 22 years old, follows a different path from other young stars in the sport, always related to a busy life – with luxury, partying and women. In fact, McDonald, who is engaged to Rachel Esteller, stated in an interview that he has been sexually abstinent for three and a half years.

“Actually, I've been abstinent for three and a half years now. It's a good argument (that it brings me benefits)”, said the fighter on the radio “KMRQ Rock 96.7”, in an excerpt reproduced by the program “UFC: Road to the Octagon”, when asked about his opinion regarding the practice of sex before fights.

McDonald, who has already been defeated by Renan Barao in the interim bantamweight belt dispute, he also talked about his next fight, against Urijah faber, at UFC on FOX 9. “I don't know if I'm going to knock him out, but I've tested the chin of everyone I've ever faced. Urijah will rock. I don't know what's going to happen after that, I don't know what the end of the fight will be, but I'll hit everyone”, said the current number three in the 61 kg division ranking.
