Brazilian Bethe “Pitbull” Correia will debut in the UFC in style. After Mitch Gagnon was cut from UFC Fight Night 33 for not being able to obtain an Australian visa, the fight between Bethe and Julie Kedzie was promoted to the main card of the event, which takes place on Friday night (6) – Brazilian time.

Due to visa problems, and due to the proximity of the event, the fight between Mitch Gagnon and Alex Caceres, which was supposed to open the main card of fight night, ended up being postponed to a date yet to be announced. As a result, the vacancy left by the confrontation was occupied by the women's fight that would close the preliminary card.
