Coach believes GSP has a 50% chance of hanging up his gloves

Firas Zahabi, head coach of Georges St Pierre, revealed that he still doesn't know what his fighter's future will be.

In an interview with Canadian website Sportsnet, Zahabi said that not even those closest to St. Pierre know what his next steps will be. "I don't know. I think it’s 50-50 and I don’t even think Georges knows,” he revealed.

“He alone has 22 fights in the UFC. That's a lot of training, years of sacrifice. He can't multitask, have a wife and children, or even a stable girlfriend. He has nothing normal in his life. How long will he want to do this? He will decide what he will do and no one will do it for him”, argued the coach.

However, Zahabi said that if St. Pierre decides to retire, he will have done so in style. “I think if [his career] ends like this, it will be good. He would end up with a fight of the night award in a battle that was back and forth. He showed heart, courage, he showed that he is a fighter”, he analyzed.
