Marcus Aurélio wins Pure Combat main fight

The black belt Marcus Aurelius recovered from a sequence of two consecutive defeats and won the main fight of Pure Combat, an event held this Friday, in Atlanta. The Brazilian knocked out Chris Liguori at 23 seconds of round two.

The other Brazilians on the card were not as lucky. Felipe Arantes lost the judges' decision to Steve D'Angelis, while Daniel Tavares was knocked out by Bryan Danner in the first round. Check out the full results:
