José Aldo needs to be naked, but makes weight and confirms decisive fight against Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 278

Everything is fine for the main fights of the UFC 278, which takes place this Saturday (20). At the official weigh-in for the event, held this Friday (19), in Salt Lake City (USA), José Aldo caused apprehension, but, with the help of the screen, he went through the compromise with the scales and guaranteed the decisive fight against Merab Dvalishvili.  Paulo borrachinha e Kamaru Usman also confirmed their challenges.

For the first time since his move to bantamweight (up to 61,2kg.), José Aldo caused apprehension, but guaranteed his challenge in the UFC 278. After passing about 200g. of the established limit, Manauara used the screen and guaranteed 61,6kg., using the pound (454g.) of tolerance.

Rival of the 'People's Champion' on the main card, Merab Dvalishvili passed the scales at 61,6kg.

Absolute at welterweight (up to 77kg.), Kamaru Usman He was the first athlete to step on the scale. In search of his sixth title defense, the Nigerian secured 77,1kg.

Responsible for trying to end the reign of the title owner, Leon edwards weighed in immediately afterwards. With the same 77,1kg., the challenger confirmed the challenge in the main fight.

Unlike his last performance in the UFC, when he had problems cutting weight, Paulo borrachinha did not disappoint. The Brazilian arrived confident and weighed 84,1kg. After confirming his participation in the show, the Minas Gerais native clashed with members of USADA (United States Anti-Doping Agency), accusing the team of waking him up at 7 am.

Borrachinha's opponent at the event, Luke Rockhold guaranteed his return to MMA. Back after more than three years of inactivity, the former middleweight champion weighed 84,1kg.
